This message is for the RPD Board,

I would like to add my voice to the many that would like to see the Riverview Ice House be considered as an asset and not obsolete. The Ice House is not only a favorite of mine in this community because my Husband Bill was put on that project when he first joined the RPD as Deputy Director, but it also has been a favorite of so many in Rockford, and also so many outside of Rockford.

I am wondering, how did it get to the point of not being able to be maintained? It is a central part of Rockford and a vital part of downtown! The Sports Factory is a puzzle also. I know Covid 19 has affected us all, but when things come back, why wouldn't you want the benefit of sports tournaments and that income again? Hoping you take your time on this vote!
